I have to mail it tommrow so it might be a little wet from my tears! Please pray that we raise the other 1000.oo very soon! God will provide he has thus far! God bless and I will post pictures of the bell quilts progress. Lots of pictures on this one! It will be a nice keepsake for someone!

Quilt Fundraiser!

Ok for all of you who have donated to the hugs and kisses quilt here is an update!

I pick up the quilt tonite from the quilters and will post a picture. I will draw the winning name on Friday after I post all who have donated to make sure my list has all the proper names on it! Once the winning name is picked I will post it here!
so please watch the blog so that you can provide me with an address to send it to!

Thanks to all who donated and good luck.

Remember in about two weeks there will be the bell quilt and all new pictures are on it so watch for that someone special on that quilt and fell free to bid on it!

I am sorry for not posting much but I am getting a bit discourged.. I keep running into walls with the paperwork and that has taken up alot of my time.

I also had my heart broken the other day as my 18 year old decided to contact his birth mother and sprung it on me that he wanted to go live with her for the last two months before he left for the Military. I understand now why he did not tell me he has been talking to her on facebook for three months and it was because he did not want to hurt my feelings. I told him he has hurt me more by doing this without talking to me but he is 18 and has alot of unanswered questions. His birth father died last year and all he has left for getting answers is the birth mother. I don't trust her but do trust my son and pray for him everyday! Adoption is a life long road with lots of pot holes along the way but you just fill them and drive over them onto the next one. I love all my kids and that will never change.

Busy Day!

Oh my Goodness!

What a day! I went through all my paperwork and make sure I had each and every document needed for the social worker. I called our insurance for a letter to state that Lera would be covered when we get her home and make copies of everything. I got it all togather and sent it off! I woke up this morning and found the most wonderful suprise of a a donation to Lera's adoption. The angel is from Minnesota and god bless them. How is that for Minnesota nice. Just a few more block to get donation for and then when the quilt comes back from the quilter its time to draw a name! I am so excited to see it finished. I am putting a new pic of Lera on here and hope you love our russian princess!

Good Morning Everyone!

I have just finished Bringing the boys to school and God was at work today as he is
everyday!

My sons teacher came up to me as I was reading the morning message with the boys and
infomed me they are having a penny war this year and would like to donate the money to Lera's adoption. It brought me to tears! My boys go to a charter school and so there are only 90 kids total! 1-3 grade are in the same classroom and my boys are learning a few words in Russian. The other day Tobbie my nine year old was asked a yes or no question in class and he answered in Russian. I thought that was so cool!~~ They are getting so excited. Just thought I would share!

Good Evening Everyone.

Just a follow-up to the quilt! We would perfer that you use the chip in on this site as we are adoptiong from Russia and have a great deal of initial exprense and with this it will create less hardship on the family with your donations. I do want to tell you that your donation is not tax deductable using the chip in. I want this be a gift from the heart in order for Lera to come home so if you feel it in your heart to help out your reward is greater. There are so many children on Reeces Rainbow and believe me if we could adopt more than one we would but we are not in a place to do that right now. God brought us here to Reeces Rainbow and will bring Lera to us if it is his will. We have had many signs so far that is is right and lets hope they keep coming as to put no doubt in our minds weather we are doing the right thing. We thanks each and everyone that finds it in there heart to help in our venture!

God Bless

Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome to the Dinnings fundraiser for Lera!

Attached are two pictures of Lera's quilt block for the quilt we are making. I hope it looks like a bell. I used the bell pattern because I was remimded of the line "Every time a bell rings and angel gets their wings". One quilt will be bells and the other hearts. I picked these blocks as they are easy to make and come togather fast!

For a twenty five dollar donation you can have your adoptive childs photo in the quilt! If you wish you may also sponsor a child still waiting. Just give me the childs name and I will make the block in your families name! If you have adopted more than one child and have a photo you wish to use other than the one on Reeces Rainbow just email me at the below email address and attach the photo in your email, I will take it from there! I have 120 block spaces available and once all blocks are spoken for and the quilt is done I will have Reeces Rainbow staff draw a name of all the people who have brought blocks and that person will recieve the quilt. This would be a nice keep sake quilt for any family and when you look at all the children you can be reminded of all Gods good work in finding these children families! Please help us in this fundraiser in order for us to bring Lera home where she belongs! If you have any questions or want to send me a photo please email me at MDINN38613@aol.com

Thanks and God Bless!

Hello Everyone,

We are the Dinnings from Minnesota and wish to say hi to all the family's that are adopting from Reeces Rainbow and to invite you to our fund raising effort to raise the rest of our funds needed to bring Lera home!

I am making a photo quilt and if you would like the child that your are thinking of adopting or the child or children you have adopted in the quilt please buy a quilt block for twenty five per block and I will include your child's photo in the quilt.
Reeces Rainbow Families only and if you wish to donate a block for a child that has not been chosen yet feel free to donate in their honor!

We hope this journey to bringing Lera home is as exciting as some of the posts that I have read on some of your blogs. God Bless and please help us in our fundraising efforts.
